The cardio equipment are all with tvs. My membership covers both gyms, so I am quite happy currently. Try using Current Location search again. They use Precor equipment which are all brand new. They have the students go through a rotation of exercises.
I am very disappointed about how they conduct business. Love the staff and facility here. Remember parents, when you video your child you are probably filming all the others around them, not all parents are ok with that. Meanwhile, very small children are being thrown from deep to shallow by parents, 4 toddlers in the hot tub all things we were reprimanded for on our 1st visit here. I emerged dripping wet on all of 10 minutes.
When I tried to take some equipment into the Monster room which we are told we can use if no classes going on I had a staff member come in and tell me I couldn't take equipment in there. Yes, the Y does rely on volunteers to provide services. If it does, follow its instructions to enable Location Services for Safari. My kid has also done ballet lessons with Ms. For example, I have a beginner, I'm not a gymnastics expert but I can tell that her form is off when she was doing a backwards roll.
They really need to move that class into a separate room. And my membership has access to the south bay location on H street and the one in eastlake. Examples may include lack of care or supervision, access to open bodies of water, lack of a fire clearance for the building and access to dangerous chemicals. I had very high hopes for the summer at this beautiful, brand new pool and facility for my 8 year old son and I. It has maximum capacity of 60 children. Everyone who works there are all friendly and nice.
I love the new splash zone and I saw lots of kids enjoy it. Shower facilities are clean and not musty. Now they put out towels everyone shares to wipe down the equipment. Mind you I took a medicine ball, jump rope, bands, and a kettleball. They look like they hate their job and really discourage one from signing up your kids for classes.
They're all super nice, and they have all sorts of activities for the kids from games to crafts. Some Y organizations offer membership or program pricing on a sliding scale for low-income individuals and families. They also have newer lockers that don't require a lock in the changing areas! They say you can use a studio room but it seems every time we are there the studios are in use for classes. After the challenge was over, we won by losing the most body fat and weight. Especially during the summer when the pool is very packed they have to be very strict on the rules because anything can occur. However, this is expected in all gyms because it's the time of day when most people are generally available i.
Finally, there is sign near the waiting room that says something like for privacy no pictures or video taping of gymnast allowed apparently adults can't read. I feel like in that hour the girls are not getting as much of a work out that they could be. It's affordable and the lessons are good. The two things that will make me cancel at some point when I find another gym that meets all my needs are they do not have a sauna and the system they have for cleaning the machines. Definitely a great gym to go to if you have children. Bench's and weights are limited. There's plenty of lockers to use.
And my family and I absolutely love it. Possibly some bleacher type seating. I feel like they need to add on. She was having trouble with it and I got really nervous watching her from the waiting area when I saw her struggling. Out of practice and on the spot he made 45 seconds before tapping out.
