I have had the pollution issue. If it's a real fault, then you should notice a fall off of performance and this indicates a trip to your garage to get it fixed. Will get done and sell Snow White no dwarf March 2013 207 gt turbo. Unless you want to spend all your savings on repairs, get out while you can. As one suggested above that taking of the +ve battery is also a solutions.
I'm now going into the third week of my three month warranty and with snow and Christmas I can't see anything much done before the new year. Local dealers are very expensive ,cost is £650 Ibo June 2011 This has happened on my 2. Loz December 2014 after a lot of study idecided to do surgery bought a timing kit and timing chain kit consisting of new crankshaft sprocket,pulley hub,timing chain,guides,adjuster,anti knock pad,and new set of bolts. Could coolant leak from a poor quality temp sensor down a wire? Please dont tell me to take the car to citron again. My local Peugeot dealer to their credit resolved the issue and returned the car to me within 24 hours. Looks like fancy pant French car maker just pulled a fast on all of us and better still they did not know what is causing this problem too. At this point when they say what they think it is this time; ask for a refund for the wrong part fitted the first time.
It might have been longer if Peugeot never eventually got off their backside and chased the incompetent dealer. So took your advice, hot footed it to Halfords and it has solved the problem. I assume this explains why the air con blows slightly warm when turned on when the fault code is registered? Every time they cleared them off different fault codes appeared! Remplacement de la pièce et de la sonde lambda celle de derriere. The diagnostics tests came up with no faults. My 156 gt 15 months old, 10500 miles is currently in for timing chain repairs. It will be interesting to see if this can be fixed or in fact will be covered under the warranty. Oh I did have a vacuum valve sequence failure a few months ago after repairing the left hand side window. I didn't expect to pay £25. No need to disconnect the battery.
The car threw up the fault 'depollution etc. J'ai compris par la suite que c'est un message générique qui veux dire : va voir ton garagiste pour qu'il branche la valise! I think my turbo isn't working but as I've never driven a turbo car before, other than my earlier experiences with this one, so I'm not sure what it should feel or sound like under normal road driving.
